 increasingly important for a successful industrial company - the VDE DKE 
 symposium shows how it works!The current crises in the world show it very 
 clearly: a networked and digitalized industry and infrastructure are 
 vulnerable to cyber attacks. One solution is the application of 
 international norms and standards. The IEC 62443 series of standards 
 describes security concepts and basic requirements for a holistic approach
  to industrial security. The series of standards has grown considerably in
  recent years and further documents are still being created to do justice 
 to the complex task. What is the current status? What else can be expected
  in the coming years? We would like to discuss these and other questions 
 about the series of standards and their application with you:The life 
 cycle of a system: Is it all down to the operator?What does a manufacturer
  have to do to develop a safe product?Have all requirements been met?
